I am Nivesh Saharan, a full-stack engineer based in Gurugram, India. For 14 years I have built the software that commerce and small teams run on: Shopify stores and apps, Laravel platforms, React front-ends, mobile apps and EVM products.

The short version
I specialise in building web apps with PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (React, Vue, Node.js), and I have spent most of the last decade inside the Shopify ecosystem: themes, public and private apps, checkout and discount logic, and the integrations that keep operations moving.
Between 2014 and 2020 I co-founded three companies. Yopify and Sellify Apps shipped 9 public Shopify apps to the App Store; Centire built custom web platforms for clients. Since 2020 I have worked independently with a small number of brands and product teams, most of them for years at a time.
I also build my own products. Payback tracks money between people on iOS, Android and the web as OweJar, Hoursmith takes freelancers and agencies from tracked hour to paid invoice, and I write about Rust, JavaScript, NGINX and Shopify when I learn something worth keeping.

- Long-term Shopify partnerships with Fabric Wholesale Direct, Truck Mount Forums, INNBeauty Project and By Simran.
- Shipped Payback to the App Store and Google Play, with OweJar as its free web version, and launched Hoursmith, flat-fee time tracking and invoicing for freelancers and agencies.
- Built Bake My Token, a self-serve ERC-20 token launch platform for EVM chains.

- Built the ULTIMATE app suite: cart drawer, countdown timer, currency converter, post-purchase upsell and announcement bar.
- Shipped conversion apps across upsell, social proof and post-purchase use cases for high-volume merchants.

How I work
Pragmatic by default.
- 01
Constraints first
Define the real constraints early: budget, plan limits, release calendar, team. Good architecture is mostly saying no to the wrong complexity.

Clean, boring architecture
Code that the next engineer can read on a Monday. Fewer moving parts, well-named, with the sharp edges documented.
- 03
Ship in increments
Weekly demos, staging-first releases and small reversible steps. Live stores do not get big-bang launches.
- 04
Own the outcome
Direct technical ownership from strategy through launch and the support after it. If it breaks at 2am before a sale, that is my problem too.
03Away from the keyboard
Bicycles, scooters, bakeries.
Most of my best debugging happens on a bike ride. The rest happens with coffee.
